Heather and Justin's engagement
For Heather and Justin's engagement shoot I went down to Newport Beach as they wanted to capture the town in which they live. Heather is also the sister of Bryan who's marriage to Mary I photographed last year. Did that make sense? My grammar sucks, thats the only hard part of starting a blog, trying to type half way intelligently. Anyway, we had a great time walking around Newport and I really enjoyed getting to know Heather and Justin better. Here ya go...

Holly and Tom get Married
Holly and Tom are a really really sweet couple that I am very fond of. They tied there nuptials this past April 4th on the beach in Malibu. They got ready at Casa Malibu in Malibu, CA. Which is a cozy little cottage type hotel on the beach. While we were there Holly walked up the block to a really neat little salon La Sirene Salon where Brittany and Barbie did a fabulous job on hair and makeup. From there we went back and photographed the guys and girls getting ready and then it was off to the Malibu West Beach Club which is a beautiful venue right on the beach. Erik Ortiz of Essence DJ Entertainment spun the night away, where everyone partied and had a fabulous time.

Bill, Monica and Talia
Bill and Monica are a great couple that recently had Talia, a beautiful one year old girl. They wanted to get some family shots of everybody and when we agreed to meet they were right in the middle of moving so their living situation was in turmoil. One residence was full of boxes the other fairly empty, so we met at the empty one and did a little shooting and then moved on to the park for some variety. We ended up with a really nice variety of pictures.

Rebecca, Kate, Jeff and Amelia
This was a really fun day of shooting with great people. I was hired by Rebecca who is leaving Southern California to live with her boyfriend in Australia. She wanted to get some shots of herself for her boyfriend and then some shots of her and favorite man Reilly (her pooch). Then we went over to her sister Kate's house to get some shots of her with Kate's family (husband Jeff and daughter Amelia) although Amelia seemed to steal the show we managed to get in a few shots of everybody else. Here are the family shots of everybody. The shots of Rebecca and Reilly are to follow in the next few blog entries.
