Emily's fashion shoot...

We kind of did a cross fashion/rocker theme for Emily's fashion shoot. Why, you might ask. Well, because Emily Jaye is a very talented singer/songwriter, so we incorporated her rocker roots into the shoot and with the talented Lisette Baca leading the way on hair and makeup we created some very cool images. Everyone was really into this shoot and getting the best possible images (which I always appreciate). The hard work paid off and here are the highlights...

Katelyn

Katelyn is a very experienced model and spokesmodel. She wanted to get some new shots, something she hadn't done before. So she had some ideas and we headed out to do them. We met at her house and were going to take off from there but when I got there she said she had never been photographed at her house and it was the cutest house, just perfect for photography. The first outfit she wanted to wear went perfectly with the front of the house so thats where we started and after that we just walked around the neighborhood and found tons of places to shoot the other stuff. Needless to say Katelyn was super easy to photograph and a pleasure to hang with. Here's some of your picts Katelyn...

Savak

Savak is a model/actor and personal trainer. He is just starting out in the entertainment world and is doing very well so far. He needed to round out his fashion portfolio a bit so we set out to do just that. We ended up in the alley ways of Venice (one of may favorite places to shoot). There's always great lighting and architecture to play with which is why I love it. We ended the day going to Santa Monica airport and shooting there for a few shots on the way home, no airplanes in the pictures but it had some cool lighting to play with. Savak is a natural in front of a camera and was super easy to shoot, I think he should do very well.

Cynthia

For Cynthia's fashion shoot we started out with a great game plan but it all went out the window as we scrambled to figure out what to do. We had planned to go to this park up in the hills and do a variety of shots but when we got there we got one shot in before the park ranger came by and told us we weren't allowed to shoot in the park. News to me. Anyway, we were already running behind and now we had about an hour of light left so we went back into town and found a really cool apartment complex in Hollywood that is actually now a historical landmark. We decided to go for it and crank out a couple more shots really quick. For all the chaos we actually came up with a bunch of really cool shots. Sometimes thats just the way it goes. Luckily, both Cynthia and Lisetta Baca (hair and makeup) were great sports and up for the challenge or it wouldn't have gone as well as it did. Here are some highlights from Cynthia's shoot...
