Justyna and Victor
Justyna and Victor are two of the nicest people I've ever met. From the first time I met them through doing their engagement shoot to photographing their wedding it never changed. Just had an absolutely great time getting to know them both and photographing them along the way. Its one of the perks of my job that I get to meet and make new friends with really decent good human beings. And I like that, its refreshing!!! Well the day started off as most wedding do with Justyna and the girls getting their hair and makeup done at the salon, with all the normal excitement, anticipation and ear to ear smiles everywhere. Then it was off to the ceremony site at Rancho Sol Del Pacifico which is a beautiful estate up in the hills of Malibu. The ceremony was touching and beautiful. Not to mention a view that overlooked the entire mountain side and then down on the Pacific ocean (can't get better then that). The rest of the night was partying and dancing with toasts that made you laugh and cry at the same time. Just a great day and night, thanks so much guys and here's your pictures...
Adrienne and Bryan's engagement
For Adrienne and Bryan's engagement I headed up to Santa Barbara where they live (and where the wedding will be in a few months). I showed up at their apartment and as luck would have it it had wonderful colors on the walls inside the apartment building which ended up making for some beautiful shots. Not being from the area this made me very happy to know I had this to start with. I met with Adrienne and Bryan and after a quick chat we started up inside their apartment. None of us like shooting with lots of people around so starting in and around their apartment worked out great for all of us. Adrienne was all smiles from the beginning and Bryan did a great job hanging in there for the day. His effort was much appreciated (because like many of us guys this is not a favorite thing for us to do on a day off). The effort from both of them paid off and we ended up with some fantastic pictures...see you in a few months guys!!!
Paola and Jeff
Well I was fortunate enough to photograph Paola and Jeff's wedding a few weeks back. I say fortunate because it was one of those last minute jobs that came along because their original photographer bailed on them. Paola and Jeff are the nicest people, really really sweet and it was such a great day and it went perfectly. It was held at the Figueroa Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. It is absolutely gorgeous for photography with its Moroccan theme. The architecture and colors are just fabulous and put a great looking couple in there and its a dream wedding to shoot. So, yes, I feel fortunate to have been able to shoot such a great wedding. Special thanks to Erik Miguel who did a great job second shooting for me. Here's your day...
